Yeah it is that important. It would be like not knowing what edition of 40k you'd be playing, but even worse as your army radically changes from mid war to late war. Its pretty much the most important info we need :)

Yea mate! I definitely am doing that, making a new army. It is fun and then it makes one consider not always using the same army year after year.....boring!
