Not to sound impatient, but its less then two months to the event, and we don't have any details. A good portion of my army is stuck in "Canadapost" land, and I don't know if I can make a playable, painted army in time for the Skirmish. I need to know the Priority Level, Threat Value, if we are using the field guide, etc. Depending on the TV/PL I may need to borrow some Gears if Canada Post doesn't go back to work soon.

Canada Post is back to work tommorow, so I might expect my army this week some time.

Who is running the Heavy Gear tournament?

Its been almost another week, and there is less then 6 weeks left. There isn't any info posted about the Heavy Gear tournament, or the Warmachine. Registration has been open almost two months!

I don't want to preregister for this tournament, and not be able to participate due it it being cancelled, no one running it, or not having an army able to fight!

If the Heavy Gear tournament isn't a go, or the Warmachine one either, I still might be able to finish up a FoW army! I just need to know soon.

The lack of info has been an ongoing thing for Skirmish...hoping some of the mods here would step it up...
Current Project: Painting/assembling Tau
Current Playable Armies: MW & LW USA - most lists available (FoW), Space Marines (40K), Imperial Guard (40K), Cygnar (Warmachine)
Future Projects: New Marine army @ 1850 (40K), LW US Infantry Army in Winter Gear @ 1780 (FoW), LW Canadian Infantry Army @ 1780 (FoW)

well over 1/2 of the mod's have nothing to do with skirmish i asure you they will get onto it as soon as they can however keep in mind alot of these vollunteers maybe enjoying thier long week end and wont see the boards again until monday maybe tuesday depending on how their work week played out or family obligations... i would also urge those who love these games with lack of info to step up to help many don't and complain but those who do this will be less likely to continue when pushed too hard. So lets all take a breath roll up our sleeves or leave it until some of those working this part of the event are back to answer...

As for Apoc which i am doing FOX and i are spending our free time building cool terrain and perfecting the battle conditions so if you need an event with info come to APOC with your bad selves!!!

YEEEE HAAAA

Others earn it...

Corey's in Israel right now, so answers may not be forthcoming for a couple weeks. Do any of you guys know who's running the Skirmish HG tournament? If so, I'll see what I can find out.

If I had to hazard a guess as to forum members that might have something to do with organising the event, I'd have to say CADMonkey is probably the only one who knows anything. I believe the other tourneys at Gamesummit were organised directly by Dream Pod 9. Someone could probably swing by their forums and ask some questions and get answers...
