If the rumours of chaos in the 6th ed starter set are true (is this rumour out of date?) then I would guess chaos marines. With the number of separate specialist codex's as of late I doubt they would roll daemons into the marine codex. I wouldn't mind seeing a renegade codex since they are supposed to be by and far the most common type of chaos forces but are currently only represented by imperial guard armies painted differently.

I also like the idea. They would have alot of the same units, but the difference is enough that a new codex and ruleset would be viable.

Well renegade armies in fluff often have some Daemons or Chaos Marines running around; so access to some characters/elite choices could be interesting for a traiter guard dex.

newest rumours are leaning towards dark angels coming out right before 6th ed and chaos being the first true 6th ed codex, but they're called rumours for a reason

If anything, they've proven it further.
Robe, green armour, Backpack vent with the ironhalo skull. It's looking like a Dark Angel with a combi plasma of some form (Almost Plasma-Plasma with the over-under). So, people are saying that it might be an updated Azrael, currently.

Poor DA if they actually come out just before 6th ed. I'm sure they'd try to align things with 6th ed. but there might be some all-too familiar nerfing when the new rules come out. Oh, the irony!
