Greetings,

Hey mates. Seems like it might be time to finally put up this post since I have been on here since before this year's Game Summit. Here goes.....

Names: Shilek Jalan, Cassidy Danboise and Shikhan Lah.
Hobbies: Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Warhammer 40K, reading Black Library novels and codexes (at least once a month is good) and hard exercise.
Played since: Well it has been almost seventeen years now (I may be off a bit). I remember using 2nd edition rules for quite a while. That was fun.
In game philosophy: play hard, play fair, hate cheaters, love fluffy stuff.
Ethnic background: Mostly Tallarn with a little mix of good old Valhallan Ice Warrior thrown in.....you know it, must love ice and snow.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you a sight that may shock you, it may offend you, it may even make your grandmother suck eggs! Friends, Romans, Orky players, I give to you, KALIMATA!!!!!


The name is James, James Leaman. I currently live in Ottawa with my beautiful wife, my fuzzy ferrets, and my delusions of grandeur.

I began playing 40K way back in the Rogue Trader days. I graduated to 2nd edition and promptly spent every cent I made on my Eldar army. One day, I was reading a White Dwarf magazine celebrating the opening of the 100th GW store, and met Sgt Centurius. A limited edition Legion of the Damned mini. I delved into the available fluff for the Legion, (which during that incarnation of the rules explained the Legion to be undead marines), fell in love, sold my Eldar, bought a poop load of marines, and have been building my LoD army ever since.

I played a few games with ole TrentL, my oldest friend, (which he doesn't remember), but the pool of people who played 40k in the great town of Russell Ontario was small, (and my main opponent got all huffy about losing and refused to play vs me anymore) so I lost interest for a number of years, but now I'm back.

On Game Summit I can mostly be found in the Tales from the Warp, tricking folks into reading my stories, which I write for fun.

I play exclusively Space Marines. The whole army is Legion of the Damned in paint scheme, and standard codex in rules and composition.

Hi there!

Name's Olivier (Oliver is fine too), I'm 27 and I just moved here from Montréal for work (Forces). I live in Gatineau (not too far from the Airport) with my girlfriend and our son. I play Blood Angels, though I have a Dark Eldar and Grey Knight army in the works too.

If anyone lives in the area and would like to come over for a game, I'm going to have a table in the basement to play. It's hard to get out of the house due to the baby, so if I can find an opponent or two willing to come over, that will make my gaming life that much better. I'll provide the beer

Oh I also have like 2-3 fleets for BFG and I'm starting Khador for Warmachine, too.

I'm Sam, currently 20 and I've lived in Ottawa for about 2 years now starting to go in to 3rd. I started playing 40K back in middle school and slowly stopped due to moving out of the country and now that I'm back and a bit more stable I decided to get back in to it. I play Tyranids and Space Marines (Also play Harad in LotR SBTG). In Ottawa due to university and currently studying political science. Hello all. My name is Tim, I'm 22 years old and I live about 30 minutes outside Ottawa. I currently have two armies, neither of which is painted because I'm in school and don't really have the time to spend painting them. One is Imperial Guard and the other one is Necrons... I love me some robot zombies...
