alright alright...

I wonder if they'll bring back swarms, they were quite popular when I started but now you never ever see them
I do hope-as said of a chaos legions codex, lord knows how long I spent on that lost and the damned army

The more I read about this, the more it sounds likes someones wishlist of what the game should be. Usually if something seems to good to be true, it is. I can't see them releasing a total overhaul less than 2 years after the last one, especially when past interviews and articles from GW all say there will be other projects completed first.

If this does turn up to be false and someone uses the idea to create their own rulebook, would you please forward me a copy. I think several of the ideas are really interesting and would love to try them out.
Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

What do you mean by swarms? There are units with the swarm rule, it's just that it's a negative rule on units that are generally fairly sub-par even without it. I lose two entire bases of rippers for every wound I take from an Inferno Cannon, a Flamestorm Cannon, or a battle cannon? They also can't score and all they get in return is stealth? Seems pretty bad to me.

I think Pete means more armies should have swarms, or they should play a more important role?

It would certainly be interesting if they made swarms that helps out squads, i dunno

y'know, this thing had my attention right up to "chaos legions and chaos renegades"

thats been a BOLS wet dream since (presumably) the release of the codex, and I seriously doubt thats happening.
