This is more like getting a brand new car for that work at home. You aren't getting bits and pieces of the box set, you're getting the whole thing.

it seeems worth it.

about the bikes, I'm sure it wouldn't take too much hacking to remove the Darkangellyness.

thats funny. this used to be standard practice with every new set. "as a treat, were going to allow you to do something you should be able to do in the first place!"

I dont mind it..

In short they are saying here is an opportunity to paint some stuff and get a bunch of brand new free models.. its not like they are forcing anyone to do it, not to mention the way that is worded you have 4 staff you split the box in 4 and each person gets there own box set.. Not a bad deal from where i am standing i should call johanna and ask her if i can help painting too.. :)

and what im saying is I got free stuff in this manner all the time when i worked for the company. this shouldnt be new. they cant even make display models anymore. they have to ask customers to display new models for them in their cases. weak.

It's kind of a cool deal, to be honest... but if my employer said "You're going to work outside of your assigned shift and I'm not giving you any money for it", they'd be forgetting that they have no authority to make that happen. It doesn't matter if it's a box of minis or a car or a Boeing Jet or stacking toothpicks: My employer is not a charity and nobody can make me work without pay.

I'd probably do it because it's a cool deal, but I would want it understood that the choice is mine.
