Picked up the JB weld just before Xmas, haven't had a chance to try it yet. (Or remember where I put it now that I think about it)
Hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance , let you know how it worked out.
(Or at least how the resulting medical procedures went)

yeah, the only problem with loctite is that it's designed as a thread sealant for screws. It's not much of a glue for much of anything else. There's also two types, blue and red. Blue means it's temporary and is supposed to crack as soon as it's shocked. The red stuff is perminant and is shock proof.

IMO, it's not designed for gluing unless you're talking about a different new kind of loctite.

Not sure what you're talking about Connor, Loctite has been making Superglues for a good time now...they may once have made thread sealant for screws but this stuff is superglue.

While I'm not sure yet, I do think I used it to some effect a few summers ago, but got annoyed at the bottle design and how it kept getting clogged up.

Worth another shot though.

This is the stuff we are talking about.

This is likely what you are talking about, though I have never seen this product before, it looks like what you were talking about.

Oh ok, yeah I've never used the superglue made by loctite. Whenever I think of loctite, I think of the thread sealant.

I've had my bottle for several months and used it a fair amount without any degradation in control or flow of glue. It cost less than $10 from Home depot, which works for me as I make it there way more then I get to GW.

I've said it before, but it was on the other forum. Loctite is a serious glue company. They make just about every kind of glue you can think of.

Some of it is very, very good.

I used to use loctite alot, seeing how I sell it at my work, but it is very expensive for what you get, I have switched over to the GW version where you get way more bang for your buck.

I get good results with Krazy Glue and a pin vise.

And of the pin vises available, GW does have the best one I've come across.
