Warmachine: Eiryss, Angel of Retribution

Postby Century » Thu Jun 16, 2011 11:47 pm

Hey everyone,

I finished another model for my warmachine army this week, Eiryss, Angel of Retribution (Epic Eiryss to those who know WM). I sculpted the rock to replace the chimney she comes with, mainly because the chimney looks silly on the battlefield. l'm quite happy with the way she turned, hope you like her too.

Thanks!

I tried things a little differently on this model, going much higher on the highlights than I normally do. I always resisted that, but I like how it came out and will probably continue it on future models.

Haha you definitely resisted for a long time! I can vouch for that :P

Whats next for you? Model wise and challenge wise?

I've switched gears a bit and have been painting minis mainly for gaming lately. I haven't actually played any miniature games for quite some time and I'm looking to get started again with Warmachine, and possibly infinity.

However, I'm probably going to take a one-mini break from army painting and go all out "competition" level on a mini, hopefully this summer. I have a few studio mcvey mini's that I'm excited to work on.
