I was talking about the splits between the board pieces. The PLastic not the wood. I know it cant be helped, its unfortunate but it comes in handy when the wife yells and tells you to put away your toys!

Hmmmm, not sure if I want to post a update pick today. I just basicly went around and picked out some skull's I missed and currently doing up some smaller rocks in grey along with thinking if I have a old rectangle margin tube some where so I can start flocking up the board.

Yea it can not be helped for the time being till I get a sheet of GOOD plywood and build a frame which in turn will make the 2x2 pieces even flush to each other.

Day 5

Heres the video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFFSq70Pwsk

I'll do some touching up to it tomorrow if I have the time. I'm not impressed with how this flock is all clumped up, making it harder to work with. Also the slightly wet brush is removing some of the dark brown paint in the lighter spots. At least IF I get time tomorrow I got some dryed out / burnt grass I can put on it and streak it around some, and fill in along the thinner spots, at least it didnt turn out half bad as I thought, still got some dark brown of the soil showing through still which is just grand. I'm trying to aim for this Out-backish yet not a wasteland look that's also got abit of that highlandish feel to it. Next board IF I ever do one will be made out of insulation pink foam, lighter, comes in a variety of thickness AND is just as bad at flaking of paint XD. Maybe do a Charred world for my next project, or a red planet, will have to see but for now its this. I know its not perfect, but its been a LONG time since I've done anything of such a large scale, that and clumpy grass didnt help either :(

Well might get some time tonight if not to tired out from clearing out the rest ofthe tree in the front yard that fell over and didnt crush or damamge to much of pops equipment in the front yard, might be able to go around and add some this grass to the bigger crack lines in random spots.

I'll likely toss abunch of this into the front of the cliff face's too.

Ok it didnt turn out as WELL as I hoped, but none the less looks cool, thought the grass would have been a little taller since its dried out :P

Oh well, thats one major project done (yea I've decided to skip adding in water effects and make some rivers up instead), onto the next one!
