Foundation paints will be your friend in that case.
When I'm doing a paint scheme, I come up with two primary colors, one secondary, and at least two "ornament" colors. For instance, my Eldar army's colors were bone and green, purple being the secondary color and the gems were ice blue while other doo-dads were black. So I did my Wave Serpents in bone with a big green stripe, then purple details, ice blue gems and exhaust being black.
You may want to take a similar approach: Two primary, one secondary, two "ornaments".
