I like the look of the sphinx models, but I think the snake cavalry looks "wonky".

agreed, they look silly and i cannot imagine them fitting in with the army itself.

Man.. holy sweet crap.

Even though the models are totally over the top.. they look REALLY COOL. Makes me want to play Diablo II act 2 all over again!!!!

That's the issue, though, over-the-top, with all manner of attached shiny bits looks more Brazilian/Caribbean/New Orleans carnival than ancient Egyptian...

Wow.. those tomb guard don't come cheap at $50 per 10 models ... even assuming they are special that is a huge price to pay for them compared to boxes of 10 for most other infantry ...
