Fimirs?

I didn't know fimirs were part of fantasy fluff. They were in the (very Warhammerish) Hero Quest board game I had as a kid (still have, actually). Good game. What army do they belong to?

To the best of my knowledge the Fimir don't belong to any of the armies, or at least those with current GW-published army books. I think the idea is that they can be added to whatever army you play, though they may be restricted somehow.

They were supposed to be evil, and aligned with Chaos based on the old fluff. Not sure if they are changing the fluff now...
PLAYS: Daemons, Tomb Kings, Beastmen, Chaos Warriors, High Elves, Wood Elves (fantasy), Imperial Guard, Adeptus Titanicus (Epic), Eldar, Craftworld Eldar (BFG).

Interesting. The two main groups of enemies in Hero Quest were chaos warriors/fimirs/orks/goblins and various undead.

the storm of magic book has a nice description of them and the zoats as well. they have changed the background a bit to make it more child friendly.

GW in the past was never shy to throw in the child eating demon bird character or the dreaded by moms everywhere BOOB. :)
