Midnight APOC

Postby manidow » Sun Jul 19, 2009 10:54 pm

OK you dirty Gits shake off all that dust of those super heavies, Ridiculous Formations, and thin story alliances… This Gamesummit in August I expect a great many generals around the table for a FUN FUN time. I say FUN because honestly if it’s Apoc it’s the only way to play it… What is allowed?

….

Umm…

Let’s just say if it fits in to the game of 40k it makes it in… will I allow VDR I’ll need to see em ahead of time are scratch builds allowed? Of course but if it’s a really bad one it may get laughed at….

Will it be a big game?

I will ensure it is I have 2 buddies who will likely be there barring any RL tragedies and we can lay out a massive amount of models so yes it will be big and the more that come the better

Do I need awesome stuff to get in on this? No you can bring 10 grots and their grabba stick toting herder however you get outta these games what you put in

Is every one welcome? Yup unless your mom says no you’re in

I plan for 2 4x8 tables at least and with a great twist in the middle believe it…

OK so time to get the ball rolling...

I know its a bit off but hey if your going to Gamesummit Feel free to post up what your likely to bring to the Midnight Apoc Game B/C it'll be great to have a huge battle scape to have pictures taken of and lets face it for us to all have a great time so feel free to brag here about your superheavy you have been slowly painting for who knows what or the formation you bought extra tanks to be able to feild...

Lets see it all here

This is gonna be a big game on 2 4x8s joined by 2 big bridges i have under construction in my basment right now and let me put it this way I can stand on it and its wide enough for a bane blade on each one..

So again lets see what you all have to offer

Hey all,

Keep an eye out for a registration form for the game, hopefully with some form of sign up it will give the game more visibility and we can get teams worked out before hand of course just showing up at game time is awesome as well. I'll post it near the registration desk to make it an easy central location. Anyone that posts here I'll enter your info on on the sheet before hand just give me a heads up or mark down on the form that you are still going to pop by and blow things up.

Last time was a lot much fun! I really hope we can get an even bigger turn out this time :)

If painting and force org charts aren't necessary, I can bring a shit load of Orks. Just don't expect to see too many boys. I'm a surrealist, not a masochist.

Painting isn't necessary... but you must observe the Apocalypse Force Org Chart (meaning... one HQ and everything else is up to you).

Do make a list though. Even though you get to bring what you want, you still have to count the points. I suggest making your list in 500 point blocks so that you can add or take away to make the sides balance.
