OMG FoW tournament @ cangames

That's cool it's good to change things up anyways I guess, it's tough sometimes deciding what game to play.

I am thinking along opposie lines as you guys, I will probably use the new version of 40k to just drop it altogether the same way I did for Fantasy, as I pretty much only play it a few times a year now anyway. I was suprised there wasn't more people playing 40k this year, and the fantasy tournament didn't seem very big either, but on the other hand there was 15 people playing in the DBA tournament Sunday night.

Remind me.. is DBA the 15mm scale ancients game? or the 15mm Napoleonics-style one? (Cannons, Horse, Muskets)

COngrats to ThunderST for the win. I stopped by briefly, and also saw that had I brought stuff, I could have played without pre-registering. 40k only had 6 folks playing as well, though the terrain for both games (and Heavy Gear) looked great, so thats a plus.

Yeah, enough of us are wanting to try 40k 6th Ed for Skirmish so we decided not to run a FoW for this time. I'm sure we will be back at a future event though!

Oh we will be back alright, but we have to pay some respects to our forefathers (40k) every now and then, lol. Hoping 6th edition isn't what the rumours make it out to be.

DBA is the ancients game, I used a Samurai army. Every army is made up of 12 bases with generally 3 or 4 miniatures per base + a camp (objective).

Ya it was a fun tournament, to bad I wan't quite able to beat you in the last game hah. I was really wishing I had some knid of mortars of something to smoke some of your guns.

Shame there won't be a tournament at Skirmish, but I am looking forward to the 1 in July, time to start working on the next army I supose.

that was a real close game, the 45mm guns just shredded your PnZIII's
