A game for those who like their World War II re-enactments very, very small.

That's clever use of wire mesh for a bocage framework! Most people tend to use solid foam or other such materials. Note that bocage hedges could also include full-sized trees.

How did you model the apple trees?

Finally, does the farm family never use their front door?

I do not use trees in the bocage only beside it - this is due to international shipping. The bocage is hard enough to support the tiles (stackable). Ideally, would look awesome but not feesable.

The apple trees are actuallt purchased as such, they are really tough to make on your own as almost every sealer stripes the colour off the apples you can buy. Therefore I but them.

Thats the small details I haven't included - because the customer is going to purchase his own buildings, so I need to confirm that he wants a doorway/pathway.

Is your workshop a spare classroom? It looks very spacious. I have a hard time laying my 8 desert buildings out for drybrushng in my condo!!
