Dark Heresy

Anyone want to try out the 40K RPG Dark Heresy sometime this weekend? I bought a copy when it came out, but haven't really tried it yet. Unfortunately, you can't be xenos (they have tons of expansions, but I have yet to find any xenos rules) but there are all sorts of cool things like hallucinogen grenades (one of the funniest rolling tables I've ever seen).

At Game Summit? I think I'd be down for that. I'm in the same boat, actually; bought it ages ago, haven't gotten a game in yet. Haven't even read the character creation stuff! Don't know how long I'll be needed for the Dominion tourney on Saturday, but other than the Resin casting on Sunday, it's wide open.

As for playing a Xenos... There'll be two Xenos options for a Rogue Trader supplement coming out in a few months. One isn't announced yet, but the other is confirmed as an Ork Freeboota.

And YES, they have rules for what happens when his spores start growing into grots and squigs. Which is awesome.

I'm only going to create a PC once they have Tau. I played in a homebrew 40K thing before but it kinda sucked. But I just found this awesome.

Well, if the 'rumours' (If things said by one of the creators in a podcast interview can be called a rumour...) are true, there'll be a lot of Tau stuff statted out for Deathwatch, which should open the door for Tau to some degree in Rogue Trader (And by extension, Dark Heresy). Sure, it'd likely only be Farsight Enclave or Water Caste stuff... But it's something!

(Plus, I prefer Farsight Enclave stuff to normal tau ANYWAYS)
