I know... if there woulda been spare tables Sunday, I would have preferred that immensely. FWIW im probably selling my chaos dwarves anyways, amongst other things.

Re: The first Miniature War-game I'm remotely interested in.

I hear that you can use Axis & Allies pre-painted units for this system since they are the same 15mm scale: That would be appealing to me, since I'm not interested in painting, but, I like WWII... especially the original and revised A&A game.

If I have a few spare minutes, I would be interested in observing how this game is played... :-) I would be similarly interested in a naval version of this game, if such exists. Hell, I'd be happy to play a giant game of A&A with miniatures of this scale in place of the tiny ones supplied with the standard-sized game.

Cheers,

Hey guys, I am just wondering if everything is still in place for this to go ahead on Saturday.

If yes what time are we looking to get started, and do you still want people to bring terrain?

Thanks;
Mike

Hey Mike... just letting you know: Things will be rolling by 10 AM and the terrain situation is totally under control.

what are you bringing Mike? and is it mid late or early war?

Ill have my Mid War British kicking around, while not giving demos and/or videotaping the big Germany v Russia game.

So the plan is not to just play a few pick up games anymore then?

You guys said mid war so I went with that (although I can do the others), but I was planning to bring American Tanks, and a german aufklärungsschwadron (from the mid war PDF).

Thanks;
Mike

Note that it doesn't (yet) seem to be mentioned in the GS 2011 Schedule:

The Flames of War gaming is something that the Drunken Gamers of Ottawa http://drunken-gamer.blogspot.com/ are helping to facilitate. Game Summit (read Orbital) has been kind enough to put aside a few tables for us, and we are bringing our own terrain and armies for some fun gaming. We will have several table set up, and many armies on hand. I think there may even be a small demo table set up......

Mike: I look forward to meeting you! - Feel free to join in our big Eastern Front game, or snag one of the gang for a side game!
