I have to agree, it's a beautiful piece of work. I love the aesthetic of the Prussians and the Japanese. I'm interested in collecting it, but I would love to find a group as well.

They're beautiful pieces of resin and pewter multimedia. The footprint of the Blazing Sun Battleship is four square inches, and it's just a spectacularly detailed piece of work. I'd love to see if there was some way to get into a group that'll play this.

To be honest I'd rather play WWI historicals (if the ruleset was decent)

I picked up the German fleet, Airship, and rule book - the models are stunning....and the "exploding dice" system runs really smoothly..

Were I to get into this game, I think that the Japanese ships look the most appealing to me, design-wise.

I plan on collecting Japanese and Prussians - I already have the Battleship for the Japanese - paints up really beautifully and lends itself well to work with things like washes.

The only thing would be finding a place and group to play this with. I would love to get into more than just collecting these beautiful miniatures.

Those are pretty neat indeed! I haven't played any Naval games in ages tho, but I did like the GHQ line of WW2 ships http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/military ... nauts.html in 1:2400 scale
