If I ever meet someone who claims to be Vegan-curious, I'm going to sack him.

Why? If he wants to deprive his body of essential nutrients and minerals he needs to survive, and thus be either vulnerable to sickness or dependent on artificial supplement pills for the rest of his life, who are you to punish him for that choice?

Now, if you meat a Vegan who starts berating you for eating meat, accusing you of animal cruelty and other such nastiness, give him one in the happy spot for me too. :D

Is that how you think veganism works?

If by "veganism" you mean "a person who strictly refuses to eat any meat or any product derived from animals" then yes. Because that is how it works, you don't eat meat you're not getting protein, vitamins, and other nutrients your body would typically need to prosper and grow. You can get some of it from non-animal sources, but alot of it, if you're not eating meat, you're going to need to take supplement pills in order to get said nutrients.

And if someone wants to do that, that's their choice and it's fine by me. Just don't lecture me about cruelty to cows.

Well, I'm of two minds about it. If you are saying that you can't get all your proteins, vitamins and other nutrients without eating meat, then that's incorrect.

If you're saying that you should have the right to live your life without someone giving you a hard time for eating meat, that's definitely correct. If you don't choose to live that lifestyle, nobody should give you a hard time for it.

yeah, I donno about the vegan thing, I'm a vegetarian though
and I've not had to eat any silly pills
I'm actually healthier then I ever was
when you stop eating meat-you also stop eating 90% of fast food, which gives you a lot more healthy choices to make
and you will.
and on that note-its time for a tuna sandwich
