You'll have to fight for those beans, Sir or Madam.

Hey, my name is Bryan.

I posted already on the battle request forum, but I thought I should introduce myself here.

I am 37, live in Barrahven and am just getting back into the hobby after 20 years. I am playing vanillia Space Marines. I created my own chapter, the Imperial Grenadiers. I really enjoy the modelling side of the hobby, and am so-so on the painting.

I have played a couple of games against staff at GW Bayshore, but really need to work on tactics and applying the rules to actual games.

I am looking forward to playing once the kiddies head back to school in September. Since I work weekends, I will be able
to play weekdays.

The plan is to play my meager force of marines, about 1000-1250 pts, and learn more about the game. Once I see how things work a little better, I'll decide if I want to expand my marine army, or try another chapter or army.

Thanks to the posters who have offered to help, I'll be in touch soon.

Just noticed your triumphant return, Martin. I am glad to see that your love for the hobby I enticed you to begin has lasted far longer than my career at the now-defunct GW St. Laurent. Welcome to the new forums!

Army: Space Marines - Crimson Fists.

Came from London about 4 years ago. Been painting/Playing for not long, maybe 8 months give or take. Still got lots to loose and learn. Figured I would start out with the 'Vanilla' army to get the hang of the dice then move on from there. If yeah ever feel like a game I'm always up for it.

London as in London Ontario? Just that a guy recently left the community to go back to the UK, just askin.

As for loose and learn... well I hope you don't loose items, that sucks, loosing games is part of the learning curve though.

Thursday afternoons is 40k night at the Games-Workshop in Bayshore. Generally people play 1500 or 1750 pt games but others can be arranged. There is also the section in this forum for organizing games at GW or other venues.

Welcome!

Name's Nathaniel (not Nathan...I'll hurt you...not that I have a problem with it, its just not my name :p )

I've just started collecting my Eldar army, played a small handful of games some not even with my own figs, but that's besides the point.
I'm in the Nepean area. Looking forward to GS this Feb.
