40K doubles tournament @ Fandom II Sunday Oct 24th

This years fall 40k tournament is going to be a doubles tourney falling on the Sunday the 24th of October.

doubles tourney played on 6x4 tables
team mates assigned before first game.
each players army is to be 1000 points
Forge world will be allowed (including FW armies, but super heavies and garguantuant creatures are not)
3 games

4 tables for a total of 16 slots will be available

I know that Locara splinter tournament is hapenning on the same day.
But anyone not going to that one can come by to play at Fandom

I really wanted to make both, I asked about differnt dates since no one publicly signed up for the CWC tournament yet

So are the teams randomized or can we pick our team mates? Myself and lutnit are intersested but we'd rather play as a team.

Also, are flyers allowed?

I'm pretty sure it was to random at the beginning and keep the same partners all the way through.
(You will share battle scores but Painting, sports, comp will be likely be individual)

But if we only get 8 or so people we will probably change it to a 1 on 1 tourny

Allo. Been awhile. Sadly been far to busy with work.

Pushing the Tournament to another date is not an option sorry. Due in part to my availability as well as other events held by other groups.I also want to ensure that tournament is done prior to the AGM, and new club president etc.

As to pre picking your teams I prefer not. It allows people tp tailor their armies to cover each others weaknesses. That being said you might end up playing with your friend as I am randomly picking teammates. That being said running it as a doubles is based on attendance. If we have limited players I will turn it to a 1v1 on the 4x6 tables instead. I would like to see 12-16 players but I want to give people a fun tournament as well.
