I can only assume they must be banning prison church groups as well.

There are so many things that fit this criteria, the idea is ludicrous. They couldn't even have book clubs or group counselling based on their view of organizations for gang activity.
Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

Nice to see a first edition gamer around! I've often thought "Hmmm do I even remember how to do Thac0?"

I have to say First / Second edition is where I personally had the most fun... I loved Unearthed Arcana, Barbarians and Cavaliers were very cool. I hope you find your game!!

I miss those times for sure!

I find 3.5 to be the best as well. I played 4th and found it more interactive as a gaming system but less imaginative. The full dungeon maps and campaign missions are a good way for a DM to mix it up from time to time and get some new ideas.

I think it went first edition, revised, then Basic no? And then 2nd edition was released? Or was basic just the revised version people are referring too? Either way I think something you could try Midnight Princess (great photo by the way) is make a 1 page short "looking for ..." and post it up in the lobby at Fandom II, Ottawa U and possibly Wizard's Tower in Barrhaven, there's also a place in Gatineau but I can't remember the name. That might at least get you some people to play with and more positive feedback from the D&D community.

D&D Needs Lovin'

Ahhh, the dangers of Necromancy. Now you've loosed a terrible evil upon the world that we had thought sealed away forever under the soil of time.

Maaaan.... :(

Midnight Princess is totally our Shai'tan. Get ready for Tarmon Gai'don! Now where's the Dragon Reborn?

I remember: Dungeons and Dragons(Think Races as classes, I'm playing a level 5 Elf) , then Advanced Dungeons (Where Race / Class started to my knowledge).

I didn't mind 4th, but I too found it Less Imaginitive. So was 3.0 and 3.5 to me, this was the start of Min/Maxing that I don't remember at all in 2nd edition...
