Just out of curiosity...
Are Dogs of War still a viable army in 8th ed? I don't see why they wouldn't be, but it will just keep bugging me if I don't find out. On a related note, can I still take Dogs of War as rares in another army? This is the basic DoW units, like pikemen and hireling wizzies, not the fancy Regiments of Renown. Although on a related related note, can RoR still be used? Probably not because a lot of them still count as multiple "choices" and there's no real way to work with that.
Also, are Chaos Dwarfs still a viable army? I mean, their rules are a bit outdated, but they're still semi-functional as far as I can tell. The only thing is, (and this is a subtle detail) in the last edition of the rules, Chaos Dwarfs were still included in the reference of the rulebook as an "army without a book", but this time around they aren't. Curious.
So if anyone could enlighten me on those issues I'd appreciate it, but this is just out of curiosity. I don't have an entire army of DoW or Chaos Dwarfs lying around that will go to waste if I don't know.
Cheers,
