2 consensus questions:

any thoughts on base size? 40mm, 50mm?

does anyone see a problem with using the 7th ed special edition fanatics for this?

Maybe I misread the fluff part of Mangler Squigs (I'll have to check the book when I got home), but weren't Mangler Squigs TWO squigs chained together, with a handler chained in there somewhere too? Which is why they can tear eachother apart if you roll triples, or whatever?

yes they are, I just really don't feel like converting them just in time for them to be released (given the speed I do things these days) and when I already have the special edition fanatics x4.

Heh, I meant for those conversions that KrysDagger posted links to. Sure, they look AWESOME, but they're not "great squig knockers!"

Wait, excuse me while I eat some humble-pie, I didn't look far enough to see the more-finished product with the squigs, well, chained together with a Night Goblin between them. THAT is what I'm talking about! MAN.

The conversion is pretty good ... the final product with the 2 of them on a dread base with the fanatics stuck to them is awesome ...

And the paint job is pretty sweet too. My only thought is that there should be two of them on the base ... but wow ... even better than trying to sculpt the head yourself...
