40K tournament

40k: All of Sunday will be dedicated to 40k alone. We're opening spots for 76 people. It'll be a lot like Game Summit: 1850, four rounds. One thing we very much wanted to have in place are strict requirements for painting and modeling. That was, by and large, upheld for the last Game Summit event but a few people squeaked through with improperly modeled/painted armies and we will likely be cracking down even more on that. I would say that it's safe to assume all the details and restrictions which applied to the recent Game Summit 40k tournament will apply to the Skirmish tournament as well.

I have had a few friends ask questions about this tournament specifically.

as it stands right now my understanding is (mostly from quote above):

- 1850 points

- 4 rounds

- 76 Spots

Requirements:

- models must be based and have min 3 colors

- army, army list, and codex are to be displayed when signing in on day of. (Army carrying tray would work well for this)

- copies of FAQs etc that relate to your army are also required.

I will point people towards this thread if and when I receive any questions. Please correct it as more info is available.

Thanks

A.

Thanks for doing this, makes it alot easier than sifting through all the posts in the Original thread to try and find the details.

Hey does anyone know the exact date of the tournament? I'd love to attend again, but I'd like to know the schedule ASAP to make my schedule.

No Forgeworld, correct?

(Luckily, Tyberos can be swapped out for Pedro Cantor in my Carcharodon army without drastically impacting anything, while still keeping the number of scoring units the same)

((Plus, its an excuse to FINALLY convert that Lucha Libre Pedro Cantor model.))
40K Armies Played: Space Wolves, Space Sharks, Orks, Tau, eventually CSM (MSons + Bile)
Blood Bowl: Ought'Ta WAAAGH Roughriderz (Orcs), The North Spire Wendigoes (Norse) Iron-Wrath Krakens (Chaos Dwarfs, WIP), Scarlet Fliers (Dark Elves, WIP)
Heavy Gear Blitz/Arena: Peace River Defence Force, Paxton Gears in Arena
Necromunda: MacGuffin's Marauders (Van Saar)
Malifaux:Built: C.Hoffman Boxed: Rasputina, Pertitia, some extra models for both

(I'm Mike, by the way. Easier to remember than Tokkan, probably. DEFINITELY easier to pronounce)
