VERY.

CAREFULLY.

(Or, passing the dangerous terrain check to get into area terrain)

It's just gonna melt its way in there?
Cinematic.... Narrative....

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

It'll use the doorbell first. Maybe ask if it's secretly a Ruins waiting to happen, too.
40K Armies Played: Space Wolves, Space Sharks, Orks, Tau, eventually CSM (MSons + Bile)
Blood Bowl: Ought'Ta WAAAGH Roughriderz (Orcs), The North Spire Wendigoes (Norse) Iron-Wrath Krakens (Chaos Dwarfs, WIP), Scarlet Fliers (Dark Elves, WIP)
Heavy Gear Blitz/Arena: Peace River Defence Force, Paxton Gears in Arena
Necromunda: MacGuffin's Marauders (Van Saar)
Malifaux:Built: C.Hoffman Boxed: Rasputina, Pertitia, some extra models for both

(I'm Mike, by the way. Easier to remember than Tokkan, probably. DEFINITELY easier to pronounce)

Because area terrain is an inviolable god mode in 40k. Two solid feet of reinforced concrete has nothing on shrubbery.

Too bad vehicles don't get any benefit from area terrain, only LoS blocking terrain whether its area or not. Only way a vehicle can be obscured against a seeker missile now is if it has a rule always making it obscure (KFF, psyker power, smoke launchers, etc.)

Ah, true. I'd forgotten that even if they're inside area terrain, they still need 50% stuff blocking the LoS to get cover saves. Which, by the new ruling, doesn't really matter now.

It's pretty absurd, area terrain may have its uses but god damn...

Shrubbery? No wonder the Knights who until recently said 'Ni' wanted so many!

I think the no cover unless in area terrain is to make it line with the Tyranid Hiveguard weapon, which works the same way

I like it, just means that if you have a wall in the way the missile flies around the wall, but if you are in the woods you can still hide in a rabbit hole and maybe be ok..

Earlier someone said that drones still give KP because the 'Ard Boyz rules say so. I can't find these rules, anyone know where they are?
