(Luckily, Tyberos can be swapped out for Pedro Cantor in my Carcharodon army without drastically impacting anything, while still keeping the number of scoring units the same)

((Plus, its an excuse to FINALLY convert that Lucha Libre Pedro Cantor model.))

No Forgeworld rules, but models that represent codex units are perfectly fine.

TRF will let me know if I'm off base there?

Correct, Forgeworld models are fine (and look awesome so why not use them) but the forgeworld rules are not to be used. Any Forgeworld model is to be used as a "stand" in for models with rules in a GW Codex.

Works for me! Tyberos' getting his arse busted down to Veteran-Sergeant of the Terminator unit, then, so I can keep the awesome model in there.
40K Armies Played: Space Wolves, Space Sharks, Orks, Tau, eventually CSM (MSons + Bile)
Blood Bowl: Ought'Ta WAAAGH Roughriderz (Orcs), The North Spire Wendigoes (Norse) Iron-Wrath Krakens (Chaos Dwarfs, WIP), Scarlet Fliers (Dark Elves, WIP)
Heavy Gear Blitz/Arena: Peace River Defence Force, Paxton Gears in Arena
Necromunda: MacGuffin's Marauders (Van Saar)
Malifaux:Built: C.Hoffman Boxed: Rasputina, Pertitia, some extra models for both

(I'm Mike, by the way. Easier to remember than Tokkan, probably. DEFINITELY easier to pronounce)

Is it going to be on 6x4's only or are there going to be some 8x4's again?
Cinematic.... Narrative....

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

It will be all the same tables as last time, plus some more 6x4s.

Hi, I found out about Game Summit Skirmish from GW's list of tournaments, and I'm stoked to enter. I just have a few questions though:
1) So, 1850pts then for the Tournament?
2) You've said that there is a painting standard - does this extend to the quality of the painting as well? If so then I might have to touch up some of my older models...
3) Are we able to use any models as "count-as" as long as it's reasonable? Specific example - I have a Blood Angel's Chaplain that I've been using as a Rune Priest for years now, and have "wolf-ied" him up, would this be permissible?

If I think of anything else I'll be sure to

Oh, I have another question that a friend of mine has been wondering: are Imperial Guard allowed to take Sisters of Battle using the Allies rule?

40K tournament

Since I am not an organizer I can't say these are 100%, but since GW did the FAQ, allies are not allowed anymore.
As to the blood priest ;), as long as I can see at a quick glance that he is a rune priest, it's all good. It's more important you follow wysiwyg.

1) yes
2) 3 colour min, no bare metal/plastic, fully based (at least filled and painted, preferably painted and textured, basically the bases need to look consistent throughout the army and have had time taken on them)
3) as long as it is easy to recognize when looking across the table and you aren't using a non GW fig to represent a model that has a GW fig for it
4) no allies

hope that helps

What happens if you pre register, get to the event and all your models dont meet these requirements?
