Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse Game
Who can play: The game starts Saturday 15:00-23:00. Anyone that has paid for the event ($5.00) and has painted (3 colours and based) models,

How many Points? Bring your army in 500 point blocks, if your super heavy is over 500 points bring some units to bring the total to 1000 points.

What should I bring? Super heavies are very welcome, standard 40k models (It may be an idea to take something that can take out a super heavy just in case) Please don’t bring more models then you can handle moving and rolling for in a turn.

Are my own creations welcome? Scratch builds that are reasonable are quite welcome but must be based and have 3 colours. Pepsi can as a dreadnaught isn’t going to cut it.

What is this all about? This is a huge game of 40k using the Apoc rules set.

Is there a points cap per person or team? Not currently but again please only bring as many models as you can roll and move in a turn 15 mins per phase... 45 min total.

What will this look like? It will be four 6x4 tables, arrangement TBD. Expect to see between 20-25 buildings arranged on the table with streets in between them wide enough to accommodate a Baneblade. In addition the table will be about 6" of clear space to allow for easier deployment.

Teams how will that work? Points will be calculated and two teams will be made from the people that have arrived. 5 strategic assets will be allowed per side but No assets with formations. Flank march is acceptable but only one army per side can use it, no jammers will be allowed.

What are we fighting for? Team 1 will be fighting to control a WMD powerful enough to destroy the plant and prevent the opposing team from escaping through the Ork teleport platforms and Eldar webway gates. The opposing team has lost the planet and is trying to detonate the WMD and escape through the platforms and gates. At the end of the game if team 2 (opposing team) has control over the WMD they have won and have gained bonus points for any unit they have had escape through the gates and platforms. If team 1 holds the WMD and prevents enemy units from escaping they win.

Force Org Charts do they matter? Nope not at all, troops will be required to hold objectives

I have a friendly suggestion from many Apoc vids I have watched, rather than find out who has most objective at end of the game to determine the winner, each side could accumulate objectives points at end of their opponent's turn. It will bring new climax and strategy to the game rather than who has biggest gun on the battle field. :D

Be in awe of my guns!

As to data sheets. My hornets and wraithseer will be release in the new IMP Armor book. Even if it is released between now and the skirmish, with the strike and the pre-order, it probably wouldn't make it in time. Would the "experimental" rules be ok?

And as like last time...could someone bring IMp armor apoc 2 so I can use my cobra? Lol

The data sheets on the FW site are fine to use. I'll have most books on pdf. (not wanting to lug the books around) but if ppl can they are encouraged to bring any books they have. We'll also have a few sets of apoc templates on hand too. :D

Please make sure you have any references printed off beforehand we really don't want to stop the game like last time to look up rules for units. lol.
