Gamesummit????????

Hey guys, i joined these forums looking for Players in Ottawa never to notice that gamesummit was some sorta tournament. (could someone explain) also do they have a store??? It would be awesome if its closer then GW to my home. One more thing, does Fandom 2 have a good 40k community? do they have gaming tables and painting stations for that matter?

Gamesummit has no store, we are just a group of individuals who help support the local community by running big tournaments and providing these forums for us all the interact on.

As for Fadom II's community I would aim at the member here who are part of the CWC as that is the gaming group that plays there, they also have their own forum and website.

Yep. Me and my buddy got together a while back and said "Wanna do a gaming event in Ottawa together?" and he said yes and we kinda went from there. Along the way we picked up some really awesome people who help us make it happen. We've had a lot of success with Warhammer 40k and Fantasy tournaments, open gaming, Apocalypse games, Kill Team, a Garage Sale in which to sell or buy second hand stuff and painting competitions/tutorials.

Yes, our annual main even "Game Summit", with a mix of gaming activities & tournaments is scheduled on Family Day weekend, last event hosted over 750 gamers. But there's a number of other events through out the year.

hey last tournament I saw a huge variety of armies, i always do at Game Summit tournaments (which is refreshing)
