I think since he pre-dates googles GW gets a free pass. And really if you are of the type to follow/contribute on 4chan, then you're gonna be a bit of a douche anyways, so no harm no foul IMO.

believe it or not Marty but 4chan can be a great tool for students and other tech savvy people if you look past certain sections (/b/ in particular). The people that don't understand the true original intent/purpose of 4chan will have a narrow and negative view of it. IMO

I think the big problem is that while the good parts of 4Chan are good, the bad parts of 4Chan are really-really-oh-my-god-where-is-the-eye-bleach-really bad. So unless you know ahead of time to avoid them, they can be kinda scarring.
