That would depend if they're playing it as hull or not. I count my deffrollas as hull just to avoid getting out on top of them or any other confusions that could occur but I don't know what side the rules fall on. I don't think having a siege shield on a vindicator would alter its front facing but I guess it's pretty vague.

mainly was figuring it could give a clearer definition of the front facing edge of the vehicle.

that would work, yeah. I usually count the deffrolla as not hull, and sort of just being representative of WYSIWYG, but that would clear up some problems.

good idea

How do you deploy models out of the front of the battlewagon with a defrolla there? Generally you need to place models on the deffrolla in order to get them all in and you definitely cannot measure 2" from the rolla unless it is hull. I find it just makes things a LOT easier if you count the rolla as hull for shooting, disembarking/embarking, templates, etc.

The deffrolla is removable, and I frequently take it off in the course of a game anyways, as it tends to fall off and get in the way of stuff such as that.

I agree, though

Ah, that works. Most I have seen are glued on so I hadn't thought about it being removable.

Yep! The GW kit (and the ones I've scratch built) are made to be movable (and swappable with the standard big gob-prow-thing), so it can be raised up and out of the way for off-loading models.

Blood Bowl: Ought'Ta WAAAGH Roughriderz (Orcs), The North Spire Wendigoes (Norse) Iron-Wrath Krakens (Chaos Dwarfs, WIP), Scarlet Fliers (Dark Elves, WIP)

Necromunda: MacGuffin's Marauders (Van Saar)
Malifaux:Built: C.Hoffman Boxed: Rasputina, Pertitia, some extra models for both

(I'm Mike, by the way. Easier to remember than Tokkan, probably. DEFINITELY easier to pronounce)

that 2nd option is one way to complicate things  Deffently would stick with the 1st or 3rd options on a regular in store match.
