Hi Guys,

Question about deploying Chaos Daemons in Kill Team.

I will be using 1 squad. How will I be expected to deploy?

Thanks,

Bruno

use normal daemon rules for deployment, then once the unit hits the table each model acts independently. I hope that makes sense.

in your case the entire squad deepstrikes as in a normal game of 40k, then once they are on the table each model is treated as a separate unit.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. So if the squad mishaps and I roll a 1-2, the game is over?

Thanks,

it happened to another guy one of the other, years, his 3 flamers landed on some grey knight termies but then again he tried to land beside them and out of scatter range of another model.

Quick question: if I pick Preferred Enemy as a USR for one member of my kill team, do I have to specify which army I'm using it for (e.g. Preferred Enemy: Orks) or can it just be plain old Preferred Enemy and work against everyone?

Cheers,

This is just my opinion. It's not like it matters.

everyone, any other option could easily be a waste in a tournament environment.

There doesn't appear to be an FAQ covering that.

I would suggest that if you read the universal special rules and it appears that the rule can effect all enemies then you should just pick that one to give to the model.

in other words if there are other models who have that universal special rule that works against everyone you shodul have the precedent you need to do it.
