Help me Obi Wan

A game for those who like their World War II re-enactments very, very small.

Not to mention the 2 LMG in the platoon and the mortar and the rest are Rifle/MGs.

Well, its official.. Im doing that tank list unless painting goes super well. I went to FD2 on lunch and snagged the last 2 metal shermans, so I can make the 2 HQ and 4 M4 platoon. Will spray priome them tonite, and hopefully get some green onto them so I can get to work on the massive ARP unit.

Matt,

I have the US M10 boxes, I am only using the two M10. There is two jeeps in there with an M20 armored car, one command teams and one rifle.

I am looking for 17prd guns or a typhoon, or M5 half-tracks

cheers

100 points is for 4 x HMGs Diragi. Would go 2 per ARP so they would be 16 models strong each. Which is kinda mental.

but wouldn't this mean you would still have only 5 platoons?

5 x M5s 310
Recon platoon, +bazooka 80

5 platoons for morale but 6 for deployment/ reserves :)

How do you get 6 platoons by combat attaching the HMG's, CA is done before deployment therefore your still stuck with 5 platoons

I thought I made it clear.. in missions where reserves are in play, I WOULDNT combat attach the HMGs and have 2 tank platoons and an ARP as my 'half' on board while the other ARP, Recon and HMGs would be my reserves. As Armored Rifle Companies are Mech, I can put up to 2 tank units on the board in a reserve missions, so my bases are covered.

Ill take the non M10 stuff for 2 17pdrs, 2 quads and crew. Sound good?

Yes but as Dennis pointed out, you wouldn't combat attach them in those cases...they are there to be added to platoons when you can start with the whole army, but are a cheap little unit otherwise to allow all your expensive units to start on the board.

All my tanks are assembled and green. All my Inf (1 x ARP) are based, my halftracks are inked. Making good progress.
