Help me Obi Wan

A game for those who like their World War II re-enactments very, very small.

SO the tank list did very well. Got lucky when Oblivion's similar list (before reserves, we both had HQ M4s, M4s and M5s on the board) whiffed on his first attack. I got to shoot back from stationary, so did not have the +1 to hit from stabilisers, and eventually won the Sherman duel. My reserves won the day, as he was homing in on my right flank obj, but then my M3 platoon got behind his M5s, and vaporised them.

I then played RKelly, and we played to a 4-3 loss for me. I thought I could rush his guns, but being dug in meant I could do almost nothing. I finally was able to kill 3 platoons, but he ahd 8 to start, so I couldnt get him below half, and as it was a defensive mission, on turn 6, I lost the game due to not being on objectives.

Both games, I could see the "flow" of the list, its not sit back and shoot, its designed for moving up and positioning, which will be a welcome change from my static Brit lists ive been running for about a year now.

Yeah, the special rules for Americans tend to make them good armored assault force!

The British can do a similar thing if you take the character that replaces semi-indirect fire with Guns Left, or if you make a Cromwell force which is just fast.

I find the Americans do really well with trained shermans, never really tried a Veteran force before but I don't like the idea of it doesn't seem like you would get enough tanks.

Thanks;
Mike
