Check out the GW website to see it all. They also posted a conversion chart for old names to new, link below.

I don't fully understand the need for the name change, but interesting new line. Looks like some colors are back

Textured paint isn't something new. To save $ or to convert old paint, you could get some pumice from art stores and mix into paints

Why rename all the old paints? Seems pointless and will just cause confusion. Maybe this is to give them validity for future price increases?

New formula means slightly different hues and shades for everything so good luck trying to match an older paint for an existing army without mixing yourself (one of the things GW paints used to help avoid).

Texture paint is nothing new at all; just new from GW. In all the old GW painting/scenery books they always talked about it until the policy change where no non-GW products are allowed. Pretty much every other hobby company that makes paints makes texture paints of some sort.

I wonder what quality the glazes will be since real glazes never work right when acrylic; only oil.

Glad to finally see a base coat white; that was REALLY missing from the foundation line.

I wonder how long these new colours will last. I remember when GW released a pile of new colours just to discontinue them within a couple years. Jade green and terracotta among them.

Overall still MASSIVELY overpriced compared to every other brands paints out there. I can get 2x the paint for 3/4 the price of equal quality paint elsewhere; paint that will actually go through an airbrush.

Yeah I don't get the need for a name change for each color, seems annoying that I have to consult a f**king chart now when I want to replace a pot of paint...
Cinematic.... Narrative....

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

They changed the names to promote their brands better. Instead of "Vermin Brown" you'll now get something like "Skaven Brown" or whatever. Good marketing. Annoying for hobbyists.

its fine if you are new and see something called skaven brown and khorne red
but when you've called them by scab red and vermin brown for 10 years it gets confusing
i dont hugely mind, unless they up the prices, them I am switching to something else

Ooh, nice. That has ALL of the other paints also!

Plus: Dwarf Bronze is now Hashut Copper. Dark Flesh is now Doombull Brown. Does this mean... that more Chaos Dwarf stuff will come? (let me dream)

(Yes, I know it's likely just going to be the Forgeworld stuff, but still.)

Hey, is it just me, or do the Marines in the starter set have Dark Angel iconography sculpted into the shoulder pads?

Malifaux:Built: C.Hoffman Boxed: Rasputina, Pertitia, some extra models for both

(I'm Mike, by the way. Easier to remember than Tokkan, probably. DEFINITELY easier to pronounce)
