I saw them the other day, I like how they are going with the whole Egyptian style to it, or Spartan as some will know it as

Be pretty sweet if we see a minitor themed space marines set from them at forgeworld.

Are they a successor chapter of the Ultramarines? The Roman-esque look to them doesn't make much sense if they aren't.

Very smexy models regardless.

The price does make sense from a marketing standpoint. Since they are unique characters and not generic infantry models that you can take loads of their sales will be limited to essentially one per customer. The GW plastic, pewter, and finecast models all have the same pricing model where they are more expensive than the regular line troops since there will be lower sales on characters. Also since you only ever need to buy one (unless converting or some such) the relatively higher price doesn't hurt too much.

forgeworld actually already has most of the line all put together. now with 2 special chars, shoulder pads (tac and term) and all required doors/decals.

Those 28mm scale? Pricey bit-o-pie for those babies.

you betya :) and if you go by forgeworld's usual price structure for power armour/term armour characters. this hilariously enough works out to be a "deal". Huron is 19, and the few power armour ones are about 15. so 2 guys for 30...not bad :S

Are they a successor chapter of the Ultramarines? The Roman-esque look to them doesn't make much sense if they aren't.

no sir. they are a fleet based chapter with unknown gene-seed. their "whole" story is in Badab part 2, i say "whole" because they are one of those chapters that the imperium has locked their records etc etc lol.

none the less, these models look bad a**. the reclusiarch even has a storm bolter (i think) straped to the back of his resarious. who knows, maybe a little green stuff could turn those minotaurs markings into wolf skulls.......

I dunno about that price making business sense...drop the price to 20 pounds and sell 5 times as many makes a whole lot more profit. But I digress...

Lol @ the 300 warhammer'fication.
