GW new paint: Armageddon Dust

I made a quick post, but essentially, its pretty good for weathering. It was odd that this new paint is super dry in the pot, but otherwise it worked beautifaully. Sad to say, GW's new paint range has like a tonne of new colors that actually are useful. Unfortunately, some paint just doesnt have a new equivalent from the old stuff, I needed more Devlan Mud (Who doesnt) and had to settle for Agrax Earthshade but its almost the same. If you're like me and have a bunch of paint already its not as handy, but they have 3 different whites, one of which can be painted over black (so its pretty much foundation white), etc.

I'm happy with Armageddon Dust thats for sure.. if I had to equate it with something, its like kommando khaki but with a tinge of yellow in it, so that it looks like dried mud.

Don't worry, they have an equivalent of it, Agrax Earthshade. Nuln Oil is the Badab Black analog also. I've heard from some people that they have good coverage, but don't hunt out corners as much as it used too (it stays where you put it more, which can be good or bad, depending on the painter's level)

I have to say, they have a million and one colors. A TONNE of gaps in the range have been filled. THere are so many blue greys-teals its not even funny.. but here is something: For my tyranids, I used to custom make a color, it was half Purple, half grey, to make a highlight for liche purple carapaces .. well.. now that I am finished, of COURSE there is that exact color haha.
